The interface for the manual import of data from milking robots and systems or also called AMS (automatic milking systems) also opens up the AMS report in the evaluations, which shows current animal data, milk yield and quality.

BETA STATUS: Currently this interface is available for Lely, DeLaval and GEA exports. The data is currently not used in the documentation or other evaluations except for the AMS report. We welcome your feedback on the function and how you would like to use the data in fodjan. Send us an email at support@fodjan.de.

Setting up the milking robot interface in fodjan Pro

1. In the left menu, go to Administration > Interfaces.
2. Here you will find the category Automatic Milking Systems (AMS). Click here on the interface you want to activate.

3. Select the “Activate” button. Detailed instructions are displayed below each one. Read and follow them.
4. You can then use the exports you created with the mentioned instructions on the “AMS Report” page in fodjan (see main navigation Reports > AMS Report).

Data upload & AMS Report

You can then use your exports created with the previously mentioned instructions (see section Setup above) on the “AMS Report” page in fodjan (see main navigation Evaluations > AMS Report). To do this, use the button “Import milking robot data” at the top right of the page.

Use the date field in the top right-hand corner to navigate to the date of the export. The table otherwise functions as usual in fodjan – columns can be sorted by clicking on the small arrows.
