Create, edit, switch and delete farms
If you use fodjan Pro for advisers, you can manage multiple farms.
An adviser can create farms for all three animal types (dairy cow, beef cattle, fattening pig). The farms can be edited in the app, but not created or deleted there.
If you are not an adviser:
As a fodjan App or Pro user, you have created a farm when registering in fodjan, on which you are now working. Below we explain how you can edit your farm data, for example (see section 3). However, you cannot create more farms, but you can be added as a user on other farms (More about collaboration in fodjan here). To delete your farm, contact our support (by email to support@fodjan.de).
- In the left menu, go to Administration > Farm.
- Go to Add Farm at the top.
- Enter all the required data in the form that now opens. Mandatory fields are marked with “*”. Then click on the “Save” button at the bottom right.
There are two ways to call up the overview of all your farms or to switch between your farms:
- go to “My farms” under “Adviser mode” at the top.
- Alternatively, you can click on the search field at the top and then select “My farms” or to search for an individual farm, you can enter the name of the farm in the search field at the top.
You can edit your farm at any time in fodjan Pro and App. The following input data can be edited:
- In fodjan Pro: Farm name, address, language, currency, current milk price.
- In fodjan App: Name, milk price, currency.
The farm data appear, for example, on the various printouts of the rations (the address of the farm appears here), but are also important, for example, for ration optimization and evaluation (the milk price, among other things, is included here). More about this in the following articles:
How to edit your farm in fodjan Pro:
- To edit your farm data, you need owner or admin rights. As a creator of a farm, you usually have these automatically.
- In the left-hand menu, go to Administration > Farm.
- Go to Edit farm at the top.
Enter your desired changes. Then click on the “Save” button at the bottom right.

How to edit your farm in the fodjan app:
- To edit your farm data, you need owner or admin rights. As a farm creator, you usually have these automatically.
- Go to Administration in the menu below.
- Go to Farm Data at the top here.
- You can now adjust the name, the currency or even the milk price. Enter the desired changes. Then click on “Save” at the bottom right.
- First select the farm by clicking on “Search farm” in the search field at the top and searching for the farm name or going to “My farms”. (see above: section Edit farm)
- In the left-hand menu, go to Administration > Farm.
- Click on Edit farm at the top.
- Go to the top right above the edit view and click on the red bin icon.
- A confirmation window opens. Enter your password here as prompted and confirm that you really want to delete the farm.
The farm was thus successfully deleted.
