Required user rights: Edit feed (app) or writing rights, owner or admin (fodjan Pro).
In the fodjan App as well as in fodjan Pro, you can create feeds for your herd – here are our instructions and tips.

There are two easy ways to create feeds in fodjan Pro:
- Go to Feedstuffs > Stock via the menu. Click on the button “Add feedstuff” at the top here.
- Here you have the possibility to
- enter your data manually
- use a feed from the stock as a template and then adjust it directly here
- use a feed from the database as a template and then adjust it directly here (you can’t find a feedstuff here? -> go to databases and activate maybe one more: about databases)
- To edit the nutrients click on one of the buttons “edit contents” for dry or fresh matter.
- Enter the ingredient information for your feed. Then click on the “Save” button at the bottom right.
The feed is now in your inventory. In this way you can also enter purchased feed mixtures, more about this here. You can also enter feed mixtures like own premixes – see here.

There are two ways to create feeds in the app.
To do so, go to the menu item “Feed”:
- Go to the top right and click on the “+”.
- The feed database opens. Enter the feed you are looking for at the top or search for it manually in one of the categories “roughage”, “concentrate” or “mineral feed”.
Enter the required data (quantity, price, etc.) and go to Save.
If you want to adjust the ingredients individually, go to “edit the feedstuff” in the following display. Otherwise you can return to the feed stock by clicking on “Close” or you can add more feed to the stock by clicking on “Add more”.
When customising:
- You can change the ingredients of the feed by clicking directly on the corresponding ingredient or by clicking on the pencil icon in the corresponding category.
- Enter the desired values and click on “Save”.
The feed is now in your inventory. In this way you can also enter purchase feed mixtures, more about this here.
